Tim Getz is the Executive Vice President and CSO of Fillmore. He also serves as the Vice-Chairperson of Fillmore’s investment committees. Tim provides leadership for strategic planning and developing Fillmore’s investment philosophies. He is also the Chairperson for the Board of Directors of Scioto Properties.
Before forming Fillmore, Tim served as the Senior Vice President for Lowe Enterprises, Inc., and together with Ron Silva, developed the structured finance, distressed debt, and corporate investment programs. Previously, he was the CIO and Treasurer of Glimcher Realty Trust, a public retail REIT. Tim is also a former Board Member of the National Association of Real Estate Investment Trusts. Beginning in 1981, he directed the real estate and alternative investment programs for the Ohio Public Employees’ Retirement System (OPERS). His endeavors resulted in investing $4.0 billion of public capital over fourteen years.
Tim Getz and Ron Silva met while Tim was managing OPERS's real estate and alternative programs. Tim earned an MBA from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School and his B.S. from the College of Wooster.
